Any donations we receive will always be very gratefully received and appreciated. It's always our plan to make all of our projects fully self-sufficient so they don't have to rely on donations to survive, but this can rarely happen from the start. Weaning projects off of reliance on donations normally requires a lot of forward planning, steady development and refinement so the project can use its resources as efficiently as possible. Some projects like paying disadvantaged people to plant trees will likely always remain donation-dependant to some degree. While we can earn income from things like carbon offsetting that will not normally be enough to cover the costs of paying people fairly for all their hard work, for example.
